Call for papers

The contributions, invited talks, oral presentations and posters that are presented in the minisymposia (MS1, MS3, MS5, MS8, MS9, MS11, MS12, M14, M15, M16, M17 and MS18) will be referred by the International Advisory Committee for publication in the Journal of Materials science, Engineering and Chemistry, MATEC Web of Conferences (MATEC WebOC), an open access proceeding. MATEC WebOC is being created and its website is under construction. It will be in line with the EPJ Web of Conferences (www.epj-conferences.org). A digital object identifier (DOI) will be attributed automatically to each contributed paper for further citation. There will be no printed version of the proceedings.

Manuscripts for the invited talks can be up to 6 pages while those for oral presentations and posters can be up to 4 pages. All contributions to be published in MATEC WebOC should be prepared in A4 (210x297) paper size, two columns format using the style files (Word or Latex). The Copyright Form should be signed and emailed to csndd@csndd.org. The title of the conference to be placed at the top pages (header pages) is Conference on Structural Nonlinear Dynamics and Diagnosis 2012.

The contributions, invited talks, oral presentations and posters that are presented in the minisymposia (MS2, MS4, MS6, MS7, MS10 and MS13) will be referred by the International Advisory Committee for publication in ESAIM Proceedings, a journal part of the European Series in Applied and Industrial Mathematics. For details, see Aims and Scops of the journal in ESAIM Proceedings. The Latex format of the journal can be downloaded here. The length of papers to be submitted for publication in ESAIM journal must be up to 8 pages and not less than 6 pages.

Submitted papers should be named as follows : Firstname.pdf (in case of one author), Firstname1_Firstname2.pdf (in case of two authors) and Firstname1_al.pdf (in case of more than two authors).

Contributors can also submit a two-page Extended Summary (ES) of their proposed presentations. All Extended Summaries will be reviewed. Interested contributors of the accepted ES will be entitled to submit a full paper for publication. The ES should be prepared in A4 (210x297) paper size, one column format using Word or Latex.


Corresponding authors will be provided with detailed feedback on their submissions.

Final versions of the accepted papers should be uploaded by January 31, 2012.

The abstracts will appear in a Book of abstracts to be distributed to conference participants at the meeting.


To have the contribution included in the Book of abstracts and in the Proceeding journals (MATEC and ESAIM), the accepted paper must be presented by a registered author during the conference.
